- More kanji (total around 300–350)
- Simple dialogues about daily life, shopping, travel
- Short passages from newspapers or everyday materials
- Ability to understand simple instructions and announcements
Typical Timeline:
Around 9–12 months from zero, or 3–6 months after reaching N5 level.
